Run Windows Applications In Linux

The windows .exe files are run by the help of WINE application in Linux.
WINE stands for Windows Emulator.
Wine can be installed from the root login or even from your regular login.
If you are logged in as the normal user (not as root)... then follow these instructions for Ubuntu:
Goto Application -> Accessories -> Terminal

Open Terminal
We will use sudo (Super User Do).
Installing WINE in Ubuntu
Type the following commands:-
sudo apt-get install wine and enter.
It will ask for your password. Type the password and enter.
thats it ..you are done. The wine will be installed ...
Using Wine
Download the .exe file in linux.
Right Click and select the option : Open with wine windows program loader.
You can also goto Application -->Wine --> Uninstall wine software
" To install a new program ..................................................................... "
Click on the install button and the select the program you want to install......
Note:
Most of the windows programs run with WINE application, but not all.........
